How to Enter an Apprenticeship Program (Selection Procedure)
All Joint Apprenticeship Programs are sanctioned and governed by the Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training, U. S. Department of Labor.

When the Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committees determine the need for additional apprentices in a given craft, advertisements for applicants are forwarded to the various print media and educational institutions.

Following receipt of these applications, the applicants are tested and interviewed by the Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee and the successful applicants are ready for Apprenticeship & Training.
Terms of Apprenticeship
Terms of apprenticeship and/or general admission requirements may be altered by Federal or State law or by action of the individual joint apprenticeship and training committees.
